Procurement of VMS on the primary/secondary market - based on applications received under contracts:
- REPO-type transactions - involve the temporary sale of the SS with subsequent repurchase at a date and price set at the time of sale. REPO transactions are simpler and faster than lending services.
Advantages of investing in government securities:
- The return of funds invested in VMS is guaranteed by the State
- VMS are a liquid financial instrument - as an investor, you can sell them at the market price at any time
- Securities can also be used as collateral for loans from financial institutions
