The most advanced equipment donated to IMSP Traumatology and Orthopedics Clinical Hospital



OTP Bank continues to honour its commitment to support the country's public health institutions. Our interest in strengthening the technical capacities of hospitals has proven its effectiveness in critical moments for the health of citizens, such as the pandemic period, but which did not stop at its end.

As confirmation, recently the IMSP Traumatology and Orthopaedics Clinical Hospital was offered two latest generation Tourniquet Zimmer ATS 400 TS pneumatic tourniquets with accessories s/n = 40220623003/002.



"The profile of our institution is surgical in orthopaedics and traumatology. Therefore, the need to equip the operating theatres in the Orthopaedics and Traumatology and Orthopaedics and Vertebrology departments with such equipment is urgent, primarily because of its characteristics: it is powerful, reliable, versatile, which represents a valuable support during the surgical act. This type of pneumatic device offers the possibility of controlled restriction of blood circulation in the operated limb, which greatly facilitates the execution of the operation. We would like to express our thanks to OTP Bank for this gesture", said Serghei Ștepa, Director of IMSP Traumatology and Orthopaedics Clinical Hospital.

During the event, the representative of OTP Bank in the person of Mr. Petru Delinschi, Vice-Chairman of the Executive Committee - Commercial Director Retail Banking, expressed his support for further projects aimed at improving the medical system in the Republic of Moldova.

Thanks to their expertise, we were able to select for purchase the type of equipment that will prove its efficiency in the execution of surgery in the operating rooms of the Traumatology and Orthopaedics Clinical Hospital. OTP Bank aims to continue supporting projects aimed at improving the medical sector of the Republic of Moldova", said Petru Delinschi, Vice Chairman of the Executive Board, Commercial Director Retail Banking.

Also in April this year, OTP Bank in partnership with the "Valeriu Ghereg" Medical Foundation offered another donation to IMSP Republican Clinical Hospital "Timofei Mosneaga" - a new generation PCR amplifier for the Laboratory Investigation Department, an indispensable equipment for performing kidney transplant procedures.
